Uttar Pradesh is set to introduce an innovative immersive AR-VR jungle dome experience at the Shaheed Chandra Shekhar Azad Bird Sanctuary in Unnao district. This cutting-edge facility aims to bring the vibrant jungle environment and birdlife to life through augmented and virtual reality technologies, offering visitors a unique and interactive way to engage with nature.
The sanctuary, spread across about 3 square kilometers, is already a well-known haven for over 250 species of resident and migratory birds. The AR-VR jungle dome will enhance eco-tourism by allowing visitors to experience the sights and sounds of the forest in a highly immersive setting without disturbing the natural habitat.
The Uttar Pradesh Eco-Tourism Development Board is spearheading this project as part of broader efforts to boost sustainable tourism and environmental education in the region.
