On July 2nd, spiritual tech platform Durlabh Darshan unveiled its ambitious initiative: the world’s first large-scale 6D immersive spiritual experience centres. These cutting-edge VR setups promise to offer devotees a digitally enhanced temple experience from the comfort of their homes.
Actor Ashutosh Rana has joined forces with Durlabh Darshan as both brand ambassador and mentor, lending his considerable influence to this groundbreaking project. The platform’s mission is clear: to bridge spirituality and technology by making temple visits accessible to anyone, regardless of geographical constraints.
Rana emphasized the significance of their collaboration, stating, “Religion has its own science, and science has its own spirituality. Where these meet, that’s Durlabh Darshan.” He continued, “This is the world’s first 6D spiritual experience that allows people to connect with divinity from anywhere.”
The first phase of this project will feature immersive experiences at eleven prominent temples across India, starting with Shri Ram Ki Ayodhya and Ujjaini Ke Mahakaal. Rana will narrate the mythology and spiritual significance associated with each destination.
Author Aalok Shrivastav, known for his work on spiritual literature, has contributed to the content of these experiences. His interpretation of the Shiv Tandav Stotra will be narrated by Rana himself. The platform also plans to include immersive experiences for Char Dham Yatra, 12 Jyotirlingas, Shakti Peeths, Jagannath Rath Yatra, Vrindavan Parikrama, and Kailash Mansarovar.
Durlabh Darshan’s founder, Prashant Mishra, explained that the immersive centres recreate the sanctity of temple rituals. “Our mobile VR kits allow users to experience over 60 sacred locations from home,” he stated. This technology has been developed entirely in-house by Durlabh Darshan and TechXR Innovations.
The platform’s aim is not just to offer an alternative to crowded temples but also to preserve the sanctity of these ancient sites for future generations who might lack access due to geographical or personal reasons. As Rana aptly put it, “This is more than a technological innovation; it’s about keeping religion alive and relevant in today’s world.”
Durlabh Darshan plans to expand its offerings to include immersive experiences of the Char Dham Yatra, 12 Jyotirlingas, Shakti Peeths, Jagannath Rath Yatra, Vrindavan Parikrama, and Kailash Mansarovar. With Ashutosh Rana’s support, this initiative promises to redefine how devotees engage with their spiritual practices, blending ancient traditions with modern technology seamlessly.
